As a retired law enforcement officer, BSIS Firearms Instructor, NRA Instructor, and DOJ FSC Instructor, I have nearly 15 years of experience in the security industry, where I have trained security professionals and individuals in the safe, responsible, and effective use of firearms and other job-related tools.
My training philosophy is centered on safety, professionalism, practical application, and continuous skill development. I tailor instruction to the experience level and needs of each client, with the goal of helping every student become a more competent, confident, and proficient firearms handler.
Whether providing individual instruction, professional firearms training, or customized programs for organizations and security teams, I am committed to delivering quality instruction grounded in experience, accountability, and sound safety practices.

U.S. Marine Corps veteran, active law enforcement professional, and accomplished firearms and tactical instructor with more than two decades of combined military and public-safety experience. A former Marine Corps Combat Instructor and Infantry Squad Leader, Andrew brings an extensive background in combat shooting, weapons systems, defensive tactics, urban operations, surveillance, and the apprehension of high-risk offenders.
As a California POST Rangemaster, BSIS Firearms Instructor, Glock Armorer, and Range Safety Officer, Andrew combines advanced instructor credentials with real-world operational experience. His approach to firearms training is built around disciplined weapons handling, tactical decision-making, practical marksmanship, and performance under pressure—providing students with training grounded in experience rather than theory alone.

I became an NRA Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Instructor with a passion for helping others become safe, confident, and capable shooters. I started by teaching family and friends, and assisting with firearms training classes.
Over time, I discovered my true calling as a long-range shooting instructor. I enjoy taking concepts that can seem complicated and breaking them down into practical, easy-to-understand lessons.
I can explain MOA (Minute of Angle) and how it changes with distance, as well as how those measurements apply when shooting from 200 yards out to 1,000 yards. Ever wondered about the difference between First Focal Plane (FFP) and Second Focal Plane (SFP) scopes? That’s where I can help. I’m That Guy—the person you can turn to when you want to understand your rifle, optic, and the fundamentals of long-range shooting.
I’ve created a Beginning Long Range Course designed around an important concept: fit the rifle to you—not you to the rifle.
Once your rifle and equipment are properly set up, we’ll begin building your DOPE (Data On Previous Engagements) and learning how to use that information to improve consistency and confidence at distance.
My goal is simple: help you understand your equipment, understand the fundamentals, and become a more capable long-range shooter.
